PMKSY – Micro Irrigation Fund (MIF)
A centrally sponsored scheme launched to support states in expanding micro irrigation (drip and sprinkler systems). Managed by NABARD, it provides low-interest loans to improve water use efficiency in agriculture. The goal is to increase farmers’ income and promote sustainable farming.

Subsidized loans for micro irrigation projects; 2% interest subvention by the Central Government
How To Apply
State Governments submit proposals to NABARD under the PMKSY – “Per Drop More Crop” component. Farmers can benefit via state-implemented schemes.
